I am super excited that 𝕿𝖗𝖊𝖒𝖚𝖑𝖆𝖓𝖙 are playing our first show all together in Marrickville, NSW on 10th of June, presented by the The People's Republic of Australasia. 6.30 door for 7pm start. We are drummer Tina Havelock Stevens (The Mumps, Plug Uglies), bassist Cat Hope (Gata Negra, Super Luminum), guitarist Lisa MacKinney (Mystic Eyes, Super Luminum) and pianist Gabriella Smart with her Electric Cristal.

We make thrilling music of radical beauty. Audiences will be treated to anything from spectral ambience to thunderous dissonance, but always an immersive, compelling experience.

Thrilled that this issue of @taylorfrancis_co Contemporary Music Review, edited by @chloe_sobek and myself, is out in the world! Wonderful contributions led by @jonheilbron, Georg Hajdu @stage_2.0, @sam.mcauliffe, @anderslind_official, Stefan Östersjö and @scott.deal.
But this is bittersweet - we are sad to learn that Scott passed away before this was published - his article will be available for free for a period of time to commemorate his contribution. We share our condolences with Scott's co-author Chuiyuan Meng @opusflow.app, family and friends.

Congratulations to @mick_harvey9for being awarded theI insignia of Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry for Culture for his work with the music of Serge Gainsborough. A special acknowledgment of @monash.arts academic Dr @andrea_jean_baker who - led by Mariella Del Conte @salonhang, and alongside @sophiebrous_and others, supported the nomination - generous and selfless support for the arts so much needed right now. Not lost on anyone how this recognition by the French acknowledges the work of an Australian artist in celebrating French culture - where are the awards for his significant and ongoing contribution to original Australian music?

Looking forward to some in-depth discussion about and presenting music from the incredible Éliane Radigue with Ian Parsons on the Sound Barrier radio show on@pbsfm this Sunday evening, podcast after that.
