Berlin-based musician and DJ Curses rides the next wave of acid, post-punk and dark disco. His latest album Another Heaven was released on the legendary synthwave label Italians Do It Better and co-produced by Johnny Jewel. Curses has also collaborated with Âme on Shadow of Love for Innervisions, while staying true to his punk and new wave approach to electronic music. He has performed at iconic venues and festivals such as DC-10, Nuits Sonores and Grauzone Festival, and holds a residency at Berlin’s infamous Pornceptual.

Through his Next Wave Acid Punx parties and vinyl compilations, Curses continues to champion New Beat, early EBM, post-punk and obscure Italo—bringing a romantic, punk-charged energy from the shadows of the 80s straight into today’s clubs.

The final chapter in Curses’ acclaimed Next Wave Acid Punx trilogy dives into the sounds that shaped early rave culture: punk attitude meeting Detroit techno, EBM, trance, breakbeats and underground warehouse energy. A journey from 90s Brooklyn rave culture to today’s dancefloor.

For this special night, Curses brings the spirit of the release to Amigo with a lineup built for the darker, euphoric corners of club music.
