Truly grateful for this kind of debut as an editor—especially for a film directed by Khalid Rahman, someone I’ve admired for years.
This opportunity came during one of the darkest phases of my life. I was initially working on this film as an assistant director, but after the heartbreaking loss of our editor—Nishadikka, the person I had closely worked with as an Associate Editor for the past four years—the path ahead changed completely.

I still remember Rahmanikka saying, “Let’s do this for Nishadh.”
From that moment on, I gave everything I had to this film—for both my mentors, Nishadikka and Rahmanikka. The last five months have been an emotional rollercoaster, and editing this from scratch was both a challenge and a tribute.

Seeing my name on the big screen as Co-Editor is a feeling I can’t quite put into words.

From the projects I’ve been working on these past 2 months, this one truly stands out as my favorite edit. Had an amazing time working on it alongside the director, @maahir_m . The process of reworking the storyline at the edit table and shaping it into something different was a journey I absolutely loved. It took continuous days of sitting with the footage, with no breaks or distractions, but that made it even more rewarding.
