Deconstructing Devanagari
A deep dive into Devanagari Script, its anatomy and classification

Join us for an interactive session with @subendu.tuladhar, who will share the existing knowledge, structure, and typographic characteristics of the Devanagari script through a distinctly Nepalese perspective. By exploring its forms, visual systems, and cultural context, the presentation seeks to encourage deeper discussion and appreciation of Devanagari typography within contemporary design practice.

Shubhendu is a graphic designer with over six years of experience, driven by a deeply research-oriented approach to design. His work is shaped by a strong interest in the history of graphic design, typography, visual culture, and design movements, which continue to influence both his creative process and critical thinking.

After completing a Master’s degree in Fine Arts, he has focused extensively on studying the structure, anatomy, and visual logic of Devanagari typography and letterforms. Through his practice and research, Shubhendu aims to contribute to a more thoughtful understanding of South Asian typographic traditions from a contemporary and culturally grounded perspective.

We are thrilled to invite you to our collage-making workshop titled ‘Lost and Found.’ In this workshop, we will revisit our with our lost things through art.

Together, we will each create a collage poster inspired by our lost things in order to explore our relationships with them. We will explore how our memories reshape them over time and how they continue to remain a part of us.

Have the lost things remained the same or has it transformed with you?
