dance and teaching has been kind of weird lately. slightly therapeutic but also still kinda sad. I havent really created a piece at this level since December. so the weight of living up to my last good piece held me down. on top of pushing passed imposter syndrome. trying little by little to show myself some grace, and love myself even thru some hardships. grateful for friends, students and spaces like this that allow me to explore and share my artistry. tonight was special

dancing and teaching have been kind of weird lately. and I know we're all still trying to navigate our emotions through life. and I hope that we can find the beauty and the presence of Sam who held so much love and passion for this art, his teaching and his students. I hope I can continue leading with as much love and light like you did Sam. I miss you. This piece has now new meaning. I love you🕊
