So proud of this film. When writing it with @rebecca.3.rose we knew the importance and responsibility of telling a very difficult story with sensitivity whilst showing the rawness of emotion. Producing WAKE with such a talented cast and crew was a joy as everyone understood the importance of the message - and I think that shows in the film. We’re truly humbled by the wonderful messages we have received from passengers who have seen the film in the sky ✈️

The writer and director Rebecca Rose was inspired to highlight the historic injustice of forced adoption within the UK between 1949 and the 1980’s and the ongoing campaign for justice.

THE REMOVED tells the story of a woman searching for a hidden secret and a chance encounter with a stranger helps her to confront a lost past.
