Here on the South Side of Chicago, hope is getting a permanent home. The Obama Presidential Center will be dedicated June 18, and the full campus will open to the public June 19.

A campus with a world-class Museum. A new branch of the Chicago Public Library. Sweeping green spaces filled with public art. A basketball court. And so much more.

This is a place where a child from next door or across the globe can sit behind the Resolute Desk and imagine how they could help create a better world.

The Obama Presidential Center Museum is committed to equitable access for every visitor. Through collaboration with disability advocates and accessibility experts, the Museum has been designed with inclusive navigation and sensory considerations to ensure it’s a space where everyone can be empowered, inspired, and connected to create change.
Accessibility for all is integrated in the Museum’s design, including circulation routes, seating options, tactile maps, Braille signage, audio descriptions, tactile stations, filmed ASL interpreters, an audio guide, and more.
