It's a tale of two Diegos.
Asked about Blockbuster rentals that showed him what movies can do, 'Club Kid' star Diego Calva gave an answer that tore the fabric of space and time.
One of the two movies he cited, 'Y tu mamá también,' starred another Diego, Diego Luna, who was part of an exclusive Croisette Conversation with Katey Rich in the same spot hours before.
Luna just happened to reminisce about Alfonso Cuarón's classic with Katey while talking about his second Cannes film as director, 'Ashes,' and his earliest Cannes experiences.
It's almost like The Ankler's studio at Armani Caffè (in partnership with @brandinnovators) turned into a time machine.

'Club Kid' has emerged as the buzziest movie of Cannes (so far), and Diego Calva takes the film personally.
Working with director-writer-actor Jordan Firstman was an intensely emotional process that involved mining Calva's childhood in Mexico City and exploring traumas.
"I never took an acting lesson," Calva told Katey Rich in the Croisette Conversations studio at Armani Caffè in partnership with @brandinnovators. "Because I pay psychoanalysts."

#JordanFirstman’s directorial debut #ClubKid is the first breakout hit of #Cannes 2026, earning critical acclaim and a six-minute standing ovation in which Firstman rejoiced, kissed co-star Diego Calva and lifted up onscreen son Reggie Absolom to thunderous applause.
Firstman is largely known as a comedian and social personality who lives unapologetically — young, gay, ravenous for substances, sex and human connection. With “Club Kid,” he proved to the premiere audience that he’s got depth beyond a New York City dance dungeon.

BABYLON, now streaming with a Paramount+ subscription on Prime Video.

After Babylon, @diegocalva worried his success could have been a flash in the pan, rather than something enduring. However, the roll-call of legendary directors and stories he’s stepped into in the three years since would appear to decisively prove him wrong. Not least his January appearance as the achingly complex arms dealer Teddy dos Santos in electrifying espionage epic, The Night Manager.
As he covers our Spring/Summer 2026 issue, Calva sits down, for the first time, with new friend @edgarramirez25, uncovering the power of telling Latino stories that defy cliché, Calva’s work to make Teddy an atypical, sexually-ambiguous “narco”, his love of Ramirez’s lead performance in The Assassination of Gianni Versace, and how he finally lost his “impostor syndrome” following Babylon. Head to manabouttown.tv to pre-order the issue and read the interview now!

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
