Can’t even begin to express how proud I am of my two @csusb teams who competed in the @icbscofficial competition this weekend!

They’re coming home with 4 trophies, including 1st Place in Overall Performance for our undergraduate team! 🏆

Teams from all over the world — including Canada, Saudi Arabia, and now Romania — showed up strong. The competition was fierce, but our students rose to the challenge and delivered.

Our graduate team also brought home 2 trophies, which makes this even more impressive considering half the team was composed of undergraduate students stepping up and competing at that level.

Beyond the trophies, what made me even prouder was seeing their growth.
Their work ethic, commitment, and most importantly, their collaboration, were absolutely remarkable. They represented our University in the best way possible and made us all look incredible.

Huge thanks to @jhbcimpact for giving our students this amazing opportunity and to @csulbcob for hosting such a great event.
Already looking forward to coming back even stronger next year!

Join the Corporate Vice President and General Manager, Kimberly Elizabeth Ann Clarke of Walker Manufacturing Group - Walker West and Walker Midwest LLC as she discusses the journey of owning a manufacturing company. The company has three locations in the United States, and two offices in China and South Korea. Kimberly is a CSUSB alum who graduated in 1999 and is coming back to discuss her journey with students. This will take place on April 23rd, 2026 in Room JB 143 at noon till around 1PM. Come by and listen to her presentation. Be prepared to interact and ask questions. No RSVP necessary - open to all students. This is in collaboration with CSUSB Alumni.

Students who attend the info session will have an opportunity to tour the manufacturing process at their facility, see the Toyota Production System, robotic cells, growth in the industry and any other interests you may have in manufacturing.

Dr. Nestler supports student learning at the cyber lab, is a research leader at the university, provides scholarships and research opportunities while connecting them internships, is the faculty advisor for the cybersecurity student organization, runs the coyote karate academy and more!
