Hey guys,
As you may or may not have noticed, I haven’t been posting or playing as much for a while. While my heart very much wants to be playing festivals, touring, and releasing new music, my body is in a very different place.

Since the end of October, I have felt at war with my body. All of these strange physical symptoms showed up that do not show up on blood tests but have completely turned my world upside down.

.
And while I don’t yet have a diagnosis, I have realized that I am waiting to not look tired, to gain weight, to look and feel “healthy enough” to be perceived again, but the reality with chronic illness is that there isn’t always a guarantee that this will happen, and healing isn’t linear.

.
So here I am on a day where I don’t feel so great, but I want to play and I want to share because having a dynamic disability does not mean that I should only share my voice on the better days, and I hope that my openness can encourage others to be real and free themselves ofinternalized shame. #potsawareness #martinguitars #singersongwriter

I’ve been trying to write a song that captures the raw grief I feel about how deeply our beautiful country has regressed for a while now, and then it hit me…”America the beautiful” reimagined to capture the rapidly spreading infection of fascism we are all experiencing
