What do you want your art to be?This is a question I don’t think I’ve ever taken the time to actually write down the answers to, and here they are…

This was such a fun project. I designed this store, Palisades, as well as the Mountain Park store.

I think this is one of the best pieces of art I’ve ever made. “Woody” 7’ long by about 3’ tall. The little door hiding a shark tooth fossil is the cherry on top for me. This now lives in a nice big house on the beach in Florida. There’s something powerful about making art of things that scare the shit out of you.Yet, shark attack while surfing seems like the most badass way to go. 🦈🍽️

“Tiki Water” has found a new home 🥹. It’s been hanging in all my homes since it made its way back from a DC art show in 2013.Glad to know it’s going to be in a home with the good company of 15 of my other originals. 15!Super Elite Collector Status right there.

I did the artwork for the National Cherry Blossom Festival that year, and @artwhino hosted a solo show for me and it absolutely bombed. I painted a ton of work where I pushed maybe a bit too far out there and shipped a big ol’ crate from west to east coast and back again. Over the years all the other pieces sold or were given away, but Tiki Water ended up living with me until now. I’m sad to see it go but it was time to move on.

Another new wood assemblage piece up for adoption. That pink spray paint color pop on the driftwood piece is 🤌.

What’s amazing is that you can click the shopping bag icon on this post right now, and then tap another button to purchase it and magically transfer money to my account, and then it will show up at your house and could be hanging on your wall next week. 🤯

“Drift 2” 18x18in. Acrylic, ink, spray paint and colored pencils on wood.

(Update: Sold 🔴) Along with some brand new pieces, I’ve decided to pull a few older originals out of the storage crypt and offer them up at a massive, dumb-for-my-business discount. Time to clean some house. My Text Club and Newsletter Club will be getting first dibs (Join in link in my bio). Newsletter is gonna go out real soon! Maybe today! This is “North Moon” 20x20 from 2018 and will be looking for a new home. Yours? 😘

I just finished up these two juicy decks for “Wallride”, a big group skateboard deck show next month at Rogue Gallery opening June 19th. More details soon. As always, my Text Club and Newsletter Club with have a chance to grab these before the show opens (Join in the link in my bio) I’ll have a few other new originals available in this drop as well.

I haven’t painted a full wave scene like this in a while, and it felt pretty comforting. So much of the last few years in the studio has been filled with experimentation and exploring out of my comfort zone, which I think is necessary for artists to do more often.

This got me thinking about the cycles of an art practice. It’s almost like a comet with a huge elliptical orbit. It leaves the warmth of the Sun to go on a journey into the depths of the solar system. Sometimes thousands of years long, only to eventually start feeling the pull of the Suns comfort and warmth once again.

Sometimes an artist has to come back to what they know, and revisit old ways, if for nothing more than to prove to themselves they still know how to do it. 💫

That is how much this one print has made me over its lifetime. It’s actually quite a bit more because I was doing editions on wood through a gallery group before I started personally selling them on my site on paper and canvas. And there are dozens more just like it.

Artists, I can’t stress this enough… if you want to make a living from your art, prints are a way to create something once, and be able to sell it over and over again… for years. And, more people get to collect and enjoy your work.

I was just poking around on my website stats today, and looking at how many prints have sold and how much each of my prints have made over the years, and I blows my little mind that so many people live with my art. 🤯

Thanks to all my collectors out there who have this one hanging up! I appreciate you! 😘

This is “Intersessions 2”.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
