cops are still toys 🧸

2025 was a rather slow year for reading 🫠 When you read both for leisure & work, sometimes both worlds collide and you stop reading at all.
Slide one are my this year’s favourites. All of them spoke to me in their own way.
My biggest suprise was Abschied meiner Eltern by Peter Weiss, it really touched me. And Dinosaurierkind by dear Maryam Aras, as I was very critical about it first. My biggest disappointment might have been The Emperor of Gladness, I just couldn’t wrap my head around its writing style I think even though I love Ocean Vuongs first novel. For your next summer holiday I recommend Enter Ghost or Good Girl, both are light reads. For crushing your heart I recommend Menschenwerk or Nightcrawling. While strolling through Addis Ababa I really appreciated Addis Ababa Noir, its a short story collection and the series exists for many cities. For rainy days try What you are looking for is in the library, a very cute story for book lovers.
The last slide I added to give you an impression of things I have to read for work (keep in mind I work in an audio play department of a public service broadcaster, so we rarely read long texts like these). But I do appreciate to read books I would usually never touch (like king of oil ?? lol). Maybe next year I should add all the children books I read for my other employer! 🤭
Hoping this year I can enjoy reading a bit more again 💕

My first summer in ffm meant lots of matcha at dima, taking the direct train to marseille (i know everyone was in marseille this year but please have mercy with me, it was my third time!!), recording beautiful outfits of new and old friends & much more 💨

Flowers of Addis 🥺 my dearest Bethel took me to the streets of the city she grew up in. I am a little overwhelmed by what to post. Wherever we are, its so special to meet a friend’s family and the streets and shops they walked as a child. 💕

Hey! Forgot to share my favourite books of the second halt of 2024 with you (scroll down my feed for the first half 🤓).
2024 was kinda hard on reading, as I handed in my MA thesis in August and had enough university things to read. Also, I started a new Job that asks me to read novels, too (which are not listed here and sometimes kinda boring…). Whats your reading goal for 2025?
My absolute favourites the last months:
* Giovannis Room by James Baldwin
* Enter Ghost by Isabella Hammad
* Blessings by Chukwuebuka Ibeh
* Pet by Akwaeke Emezi
* Die Trauer der Tangente von @fabian__saul
* Übergangsritus von @abud.alqalaq
* Ich kann dich noch sehen (an diesen Tagen) von @sgl_author
(alle drei durfte ich für #Vorzeichen auch rezensieren, das buch von sgl war auch auf meinem letzten post aber doppelt hält besser 💕)
Books I couldn’t wrap my head around (but really wanted to):
* Freshwater by Akwaeke Emezi
* Beloved by Toni Morrison
… and many many more which I already forgot 🤣
Oh and biggest shoutout to my all time favourite bookstagram for the best recommendatios @ubahnleserin !! 💖

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
