Last week we brought our 50th celebrations to a final close with an evening at the @oxo_tower Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie in London. Despite the rain, wind and even a thunderstorm, the sun eventually broke through rewarding us with some truly spectacular views across the city and the perfect opportunity to say thank you led by Practice Director Jamie Furse.

As he said on the night, “We’ve built something incredibly strong at AWW — a brand, culture and identity that people genuinely connect with. But what’s really exciting is how much opportunity still lies ahead of us, both nationally and across new sectors and regions. There’s so much more we can achieve together.”

The @aviva_arena Arena in Bristol, will breathe new life into the historic Brabazon Hangars - responsibly.

Aviva Arena will be a fully electric next generation venue and is targeting carbon-neutral operations. The original concrete floor that once supported Concorde will soon become the West of England's largest dance floor — proof that heritage and modern, low-carbon design can thrive together.

Designed as a 365 day destination, the YTL Live Entertainment District @brabazonbristol will bring culture, community and new opportunities to the region all year round - celebrating the site’s past, while shaping a more sustainable future.

From supersonic to showstopping.

We are proud to announce that AWW has been appointed by @ytl_live to lead RIBA Stages 4 and 5 for the much anticipated @aviva_arena, in Bristol - cultural destination set to redefine the West of England's live entertainment landscape.

Originally built in 1946, the Brabazon Hangars were home to aviation milestones including the Bristol Type 167 Brabazon and every British Concorde. With Concorde’s final flight landing at Filton in 2003, a remarkable chapter closed — signalling the beginning of an entirely new one.

AWW will deliver the full architectural and technical design for the Arena (Central Hangar), including:

• Value engineering
• Technical coordination
• Supply chain support
• Principal Designer duties under the Building Safety Act

A milestone moment for our team — and for Bristol.
