Something i’ve been wanting to do for a while now, I decided to make a little film to reflect some of the stories i’ve had the honour of capturing over the years.
It’s also a thank you to everyone who has ever believed in me through this journey, & helped me grow behind the camera. And to the Earth, because well, it’s pretty spectacular 💚 I had such a blast going through these projects to put this together, and revisiting the memories they hold. Mostly built up of projects between 2014-2017, with a few recent personal ones since joining @stillmovingmedia (go check out there for fun team stuff! Super stoked to be part of the team for 3 years now!) All these films are on my Vimeo (link in my bio) if you fancied something to have a cuppa with 😊

🎬 That’s a wrap!

We’ve officially wrapped filming for Cotswold: Field & Folk!

The cameras first rolled in July 2024, with our first interviews filmed on 3rd October — and since then, we’ve spoken to 19 incredible folk (some more than once!) across the Cotswolds over the course of a year.

Each conversation offered a different perspective on what’s happening in our landscape — from the challenges faced day to day, to the changes needed to build a more hopeful, sustainable future.

🎥 In total, we’ve captured around 130 hours of footage, now in the expert hands of our editor Callum, who is busy weaving these stories together. Over the next four months, he’ll be shaping the film into its next exciting stage.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who said “yes” — who opened up, shared their stories, and trusted us to listen. This project began with just a handful of people willing to get involved, and from there it snowballed. The topic has clearly resonated with so many, and it feels bittersweet to wrap filming — because in many ways, this feels like just the beginning. There are so many more stories to tell, and this film is only the tip of the iceberg.

A huge thank you to the crew and everyone who’s stood by the project — especially @Ben_arthur and @Joooe_morgan (our little Leaping Fox film team 🦊). Their support, creativity, and sheer commitment have been the backbone of this journey.

🎬 Behind the Scenes Magic 🌿✨
We’ve just wrapped up a beautiful few days filming with the brilliant Nia, our Agroecology Specialist, at Jamie’s Farm — and soaking up the family spirit (and lamb cuddles!) with Lucy Robbins, her mum, and gran on their stunning family farm. 🐑💚
The sun was shining, lambing season was in full swing, and the energy on set was full of heart. A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful cast, crew, and hosts — your generosity, knowledge and warmth made this shoot something really special.
We can’t wait to share more of this journey with you — and we’re already gearing up for the next leg of filming in just a few weeks’ time. Stay tuned. 🌾✨

Ready to roll! ☄️ Lovely to capture the Sherston Boules Festival recently! Knowing very little about the sport personally, it was such a warm reception from all I met on the day who shared their insights. There’s something special about community events like this, it’s a great way of bringing folk together

Took the opportunity to mainly shoot on the Samyang V-AF 75mm atop a gimbal - slowly building back up the kit, and didn’t realise how much I missed having a longer focal length - i’m in love with the combo! 😍

Shot & edited in a day, stepping in for @teasmartphoto who usually covers the event, it was a pleasure to attend!

A few sights & sounds whilst out on an evening hike 5.9 miles a few days ago, along the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way, which crosses into 4 different nature reserves! 🪶

Based near Slad in the Cotswolds, ‘twas a refreshing walk to ease the tired mind after a busy few weeks with work. Whilst I usually like to be fully present on walks, it was nice to create something just for the fun of it with limited tools - need to get on some more personal projects soon 🪴
