The “stars in the sea” concept for St Andrew's imagines moments of spiritual focus crystallised as individual jewels set into the fabric of the church. The order and progression of the key points of worship, icons, and memorials create a coherent flow of concept and meaning within the church.

The circle, the octagon and the rectangle have significance within Christian symbolism and have all been part of Wren’s repertoire. Whether we use traditional or contemporary geometries, they provide a sense of anchoring between the user and the space.

In October we worked on a roof extension serving as a multipurpose social facility for an office building in East London, where we created a warm, welcoming, and immersive space with layered timber cladding. This holistic design integrates structural columns and helps to define functional zones, each with distinct views out onto the patio and the London skyline beyond.
