After 10 incredible years, we say goodbye to Loose Joints at the Berkeley Suite 🖤

Over the past decade, this residency has been more than just a party — it’s been a cornerstone of Glasgow’s underground. Through the years, Loose Joints has helped shape countless dancers, artists, promoters, and DJs both young and old, building a community that will be felt long after the final record spins.

We’re endlessly grateful for the energy, creativity, and soul they’ve brought to this space.

Well, that flew by – sort of. As life catches up with us and our backs start to hurt a little, we are calling time on 10 years of regular parties at The Berkeley Suite on Saturday 8th November, our spiritual and foundational home since day dot.

We never set with any grand intentions or a clear sense of what we were wanting to do, we were just three flatmates who wanted a slice of the pie. But we’ve had a blast along the way and think we have added something positive to the Glasgow club tapestry. It’s been a pleasure to be a regular staple of The Berkeley Suite programming, and it’s an honour that they have kept us as part of the furniture despite their impressive rise. We kept it simple – perhaps through circumstance but also cause that’s how we like it – booking DJs we like, locally, nationally, globally. We’re glad that we managed to bring so many acts we loved to Glasgow and The Berkeley Suite for the first time. Most of all, we were glad that we managed to enjoy it for 10 years – aided by a healthy dose of naivety, a slight degree of cynicism but without ever becoming **too** jaded. We’ve had some incredibly life-affirming moments and some that make you question why you bother - luckily, far more of the former.

Whether Loose Joints will be prominent in the annals of club history is doubtful – it’s a heavily competitive market with a lot of people wiser than us, but we will always remain fond of it and we hope some of you will be too. We don’t want to bang on too much so will bring this it a close – thank you massively to all the DJs and artists who played at our venture, to all the crews who booked us, to all the staff at The Berkeley Suite over the years, and of course, everyone who ever came to see us DJ or to one of our parties.

To celebrate the ten years we’ll never get back, we will be playing all night, with a 5am license to be confirmed. Get down early, stay late – you won’t get another chance!
