Time to have a little bit of fun!

Here is a story of one of our road trips that we had on a Saturday. We would get up probably around 5 AM. Meet up at a gas station and we would head out and do a road trip across SOCAL, San Diego, Baja Mexico, and then back home on this day. Me, Jeff and Nefi got split up from the group so I took the opportunity to get some rolling shots and I happen to get Jeff and Nefi in the same shot together. Now I know they are both hanging out in heaven carving those canyons together.  We miss you both!

Sometimes you just get a connection with people, When we first met, Arlene expressed her feeling of a Hawaiian connection with us. This was a remarkably thoughtful comment to receive from someone, and she is indeed a sweetheart. Before we left, she gave us both the biggest hug that I believe we both needed. She said she’ll retire next year and move back to Hawaii, Mahalo. 

Officer Natalie Corona, a 22-year-old with the Davis Police Department, is remembered for her commitment to public service in California, she passed away in the line of duty while responding to a vehicle incident in Davis.

Natalie had recently completed her field training and was sworn in as an officer in August 2018 after graduating from the Sacramento Police Academy.

Chief Darren Pytel referred to her as a “rising star,” highlighting the passion and dedication she brought to her work each day. Beginning her career as a community service officer, Natalie’s commitment and professionalism were recognized by many within the department.

The service and contributions she made continue to be honored by those who worked alongside her. Her legacy remains an enduring reminder of the dedication and sacrifice demonstrated by those who serve their communities.
