This piece signifies that power is not static; it emerges through change, flow, growth, and surrender rather than rigidity.
Crazy how sometimes I feel like I was creating these works early on to leave reminders for future versions of myself.

I titled this piece Heartbeat because it’s one of the first big paintings I made right after my son was born, and it marks a shift in how I experience time. After he arrived, everything started to feel slower, more intentional, and more alive.
A heartbeat is the first rhythm we ever know. Constant, but deeply personal. It connected him to my wife before we ever met him, and now it connects all of us.
This piece is really about that rhythm of love, responsibility, and the quiet, invisible bond we share as a family.
