Thank you to everyone who came out to our first partnership event of the year with The DeLUXE Theater (@atthedeluxe)🎬✨
Really loved seeing so many creatives, filmmakers, and film lovers in the room connecting, exchanging ideas, and meeting people who could become part of their next project or dream team.
We’re looking forward to continuing our partnership with The DeLUXE Theater and creating more opportunities for Houston’s creative community to gather, collaborate, and celebrate film together. 🍿
Stay tuned for upcoming events and experiences.

The conversation was just as powerful as the film.
Black Cinema Club HTX founder, Jerry Madison Jr. (@jerrymadisonjr) had the privilege of being invited to moderate the post-screening Q&A for One Spoon of Chocolate (@onespoonofchocolate), a film by RZA (@rza), with lead actor Shameik Moore (@shameikmoore) at River Oaks Theater (@theriveroakstheatre).
Make sure to check out One Spoon of Chocolate now in theaters!

They highlighted our BCCHTX Film Festival and the Michael screening, capturing what we’ve been building with this community in real time.
Grateful to see our work and our community reflected like this.
Thank you @thevpwright / @dnglyfe life for reporting.

2 weeks ago, we made history with our inaugural BCCHTX Film Festival and Houston showed up.
Every moment was filled with purpose, community, and real joy. We’re still taking in all the love this city poured into us.
As incredible as that weekend was, we’re just getting started. We’re building something real for Black film in Houston and there’s so much more on the way.
Thank you for being part of this community.
Big shout out to our sponsors & businesses for helping make this festival happen.
Subscribe to our newsletter to stay tapped in. We’ll see you soon. 🎬✨

On April 25th, River Oaks Theatre became the site of something Houston’s creative community had been quietly building toward for nearly a year.
Black Cinema Club HTX — led by Jerry Madison Jr., Leroy Cook and Shameika Smith just twelve months ago — capped off its inaugural BCCHTX Film Festival with a sold-out screening of Michael, featuring a red carpet appearance and post-screening conversation with Missouri City native Kendrick Sampson, who portrays Quincy Jones in the film.
The week before that night told the full story.
Masterclasses with the creator of Peacock’s Bel-Air and the producer of They Cloned Tyrone, a Create-A-Thon at The Hive Houston where writers, directors and producers shared freely without gatekeeping, a Film Grants Ceremony — the first of its kind in Houston — where five emerging filmmakers each received $2,000 and mentorship, and the official launch of the BCCHTX Film Academy.
“Black Cinema Club HTX is trying to build the infrastructure of Black films within Houston, Texas,” said Shameika Smith.
They are not waiting for permission. They are building it themselves.

#BlackCinemaClubHTX #Michael things to do in Houston
Spend the day with the Black Cinema Club HTX crew as we celebrated Houston / Mo City native Kendrick Sampson (@kendrick38) as Quincy Jones in Michael (@michaelmovie) 🎬
We started the day at the Living Room Experience: Quincy Jones, a BLD PWR (@bldpwr) & Emergent & Co. (@emergentandco) production hosted at Studio Eight08 (@studioeight08).
The day continued as we celebrated Kendrick at Black Cinema Club HTX’s special screening of Michael in collaboration with BLD PWR (@bldpwr) & The Session (@thisisthesession) to continue our partnership with the River Oaks Theatre (@theriveroakstheatre).
Kendrick showed up with support from family and friends including Danielle Brooks (@thedaniellebrooks), and we closed out the night with a moderated conversation led by DomiNque Perry (@dominquep).
Thank you to everyone who attended our screening and showed love.
Then .. we were outside.
Make sure y’all support Michael and cheer when you see Kendrick (@kendrick38) aka Quincy Jones pop up on your screen 👏🏾🎥

Building a festival from the ground up isn’t for the weak, it takes dedication, focus, a strong team, love, patience, and faith. This journey stretched us, but it also helped grow us individually and together.
To Jerry Madison Jr. (@jerrymadisonjr) my brother and the visionary behind BCCHTX—I’m proud of you. Your commitment, your faith, and your leadership carried this all the way through. You manifested this and never let up.
To Shameika Smith (@shameikalhsmith) thank you for your passion, your work ethic, and your ambition. You showed up and delivered every time.
We laughed, we cried, but most importantly, we prayed. Grateful to stand beside you both.
Shoutout to our incredible festival team & volunteers you stepped in and stepped up. Each of you matters, and this wouldn’t have been possible without you.
Excited and hopeful for what’s next with Black Cinema Club HTX (@blackcinemaclubhtx). Cheers to 1 year… wow. WE DID IT. 🎉

WE DID IT. 🎉

We’re still riding the high from the BCCHTX Film Festival, but our anniversary party at Studio Eight08 took it to another level.
What a night. What a crowd. What a time 🕺🏽💃🏿
Thank you to everyone who pulled up and celebrated our one year anniversary with us.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
