Save the Date - Exhibition and Symposium
The Robotic Atelier: Bridging the Gap Between Laboratory and Gallery
How does collaborating with a robot change the way a painter thinks? 🤖🎨
After three years of interdisciplinary research, the Embodied Agents in Contemporary Visual Art (EACVA) project invites you to its concluding UK event. This unique showcase explores the synergy between human intuition and machine precision.
🖼 Pop-Up Exhibition (April 16–19)
A "studio-like" atmosphere where the boundary between creation and technology blurs. The exhibition features final works and experimental practices from Our Artists-in-Residence: @patricktresset, @anna_mirkin, @blahblahpaperblah, and ,@grettalouw. The EACVA Core Team: @liat_grayver, @colormotor, and @ithron_minya. Pioneering & Contemporary Voices: #HaroldCohen, Gretchen Andrews, @williamlathamart , and @sofiem.art, among others
🎤 Symposium (Friday, April 17th)
A day of critical reflection on the positioning of robotic painting within the contemporary art scene. With presentations by the core team and distinguished guests: Frederic Fol Leymarie, Sean Clark, Paul Cohen, @pixel_peggy, and @nabinaraberlin.
Open to the public. Join us to witness how art and technology are fundamentally transforming each other.

It was a great pleasure to collaborate with @adriannotz on the installation of LABOR at the @atafestival! 🎨🔬
I am honored to have my work presented within this framework alongside such inspiring artists and researchers - addressing AI through social, ecological, technological, and human perspectives.
This project was made possible through a wonderful collaboration with the Nanoparticle Engineering Lab (led by Prof. Inge Hermann) and my artistic collaborator @colormotor
📍 If you are in the Zürich area, please stop by and take a look!
A huge thank you to the entire ATA Festival team for putting together such an inspiring and thought-provoking program.

“Women, whilst pregnant, are walking around in the world, functioning — at the same time our body knows how to build a human out of nothing.”

Liat Grayver & Daniel Berio on “Labor”:
a work that brings together robotics, generative graphics and painting.
The starting point is an electron microscope image of a human placenta from the Nanoparticle Systems Engineering Lab at ETH Zurich, led by Prof. Dr. Inge Hermann.
We spoke with Liat Grayver & Daniel Berio about their work — and the knowledge our bodies hold beyond computation.

10 years of robotic painting. ✨
This video, captured a decade ago by @marcusnebe at the @unikonstanz, shows my earliest steps into robotic painting and explains the research behind the project as it has been developed by the team led by Prof. Oliver Deussen, Dr. Thomas Lindemeier, and Marvin Gülzow.
Today, as part of the show #Code+Paint at @dam.digital.art Berlin, I’m showing a selection of these original works alongside wonderful new pieces by @grettalouw, produced in the same lab 10 years later.
One can see the move from the industrial Kuka welding robots I've worked with 10 years ago, to the refined ABB and Franka Emika machines operating at the lab today.
At the show, in the DAM Project, you can see a recent video from 2025 showing the work of current researcher Michael Stroh. It is interesting to see which questions have shifted and which have stayed the same across generations of the e-David lab, as well as in the broader human debate about embodiment, creativity, AI, and machines. The cybernetic in its current form. 🤖🎨
The Code+Paint is running the DAM project Berlin, untill 25.4.2025

✨ For the past half year, I’ve been collaborating with the philosopher and dear friend Yvonne Förster, exploring the meeting point between artistic research and philosophy, where creativity and critical thinking merge to reflect on human–machine interaction.
In May, we had the honor of presenting our joint talk at the #BeyondHumanism Conference in #Paris, followed by a collaborative workshop on craft, painting, and technology at #TUDresden, as part of the conference Performing Transformation: Shifting Landscapes in Art, Science, and Technology and the #SchauflerLb.
Both events highlighted how vital it has become to open dialogue around creativity, art, AI, and craft, and how these intersections shape our rapidly changing reality. 🌍
These encounters have sparked new collaborations and partnerships across Europe , which we hope to share more about in the near future.

🚨 Thrilled to share that LABOR, created by Daniel Berio and me, in collaboration with Prof. Inge K Herrmann (#ETHZurich), curated by Adrian Notz under the #EACVA framework, has been selected among the top 10 finalists in the Art & Science category at Falling Walls Breakthrough of the Year 2025! 🎉
LABOR is a collaborative robotic painting performance exploring the duality of “labor” — childbirth and manual work — and addressing the systemic marginalization of women’s bodies, health, and the history of Labor.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories.
