CMWC Sydney 2025 done and dusted! Never have I felt so proud to be a messenger and be a part of this amazing worldwide community. There’s truly something special about people who decide to spend everyday outside for work and it was an absolute pleasure to hang out with and get to know those people.
The SYDBMA absolutely smashed it out of the park, making an excellent race route whilst also showcasing the best of their beautiful city. The Melbourne Fixedgear crew also showed up with some numerous podium finishes all whilst having a blast, and we even managed to catch a Thick Thighs Thursday ride with some of the loveliest humans I’ve ever met.
Whilst this isn’t totally the point I was also pretty damn stoked with my placing of 9th in the main race up against the fastest messengers in the world - keen to attend many more CMWCs all across the world in the coming years! Until then ✌️
Shoutout to @heeytrinny for the first two photos :)

Not everyone we’ve added to the Tricktrack team is an OG—the young Aussie @maxfxd comes from a new generation of fixed gear riders. Influenced by legends like @slumworm, Max is part of a third wave of fixed riders who may have missed out on the fixed gear glory days of the late 2000’s but still managed to discover the sport through YouTube and social media later on.
Despite that, he’s already carving his own legacy—winning last year’s Suck My Comp Tricktrack contest and taking 2nd place in FGFS AM on his Courttek. His skill, consistency, and great attitude instantly stood out, and it’s clear the future of fixed gear is in good hands with riders like Max carrying the torch.
Fun fact: Max might just have the only 2 Courtteks in Australia 🦘🐨—something we hope to change with this drop. For his signature colorway, he went with a gloss black to matte black fade with bold lime green graphics, a look as sharp as his riding.
Welcome to the team, Max! 🇦🇺

Seeing a @edlaforte Selle San Marco saddle on some random trail bike on the shuttles in New Zealand was not on my bingo card… released in February 2010, they’re now very hard to find - the second and third photos were taken in the @mashsf store when I visited in November last year. Ed Wonka forever 🖤 taken too soon

Life in NZ has been quite different to Melbourne life, with quieter days, which are far more peaceful, however slightly less filled with the community/s that I have grown to rely on. @antoniatthorpe and I have had a blast exploring a lot of the north island for its natural wonders, friends and riding, however it’s obviously had its challenges too. Whilst I think Melbourne will always be home, I’m definitely going to look back on this time with very fond memories, where Antonia was getting her teaching qualification and I was making it up as I went along. It also helps when your whole family comes and visits you (on seperate occasions!) which was so lovely. I’m not certain whether I’ll stay until the end of the year or leave earlier, but I do know that I’m bound to spend heaps of time in this amazing country over my lifetime. Until then, we’ll continue riding, exploring and having fun :)
@foadgang ‘s newest video, “Nowhere Fast, Somewhere Slow” is now live - here’s a clip we got in Salt Lake City for it that I’m really happy with. It was an absolute dream come true to ride in this city with these awesome people, especially after watching countless clips from @jacksonradshaw and the crew in SLC throughout the years 🖤
Wait till the end…
Despite spending a lot of time in my life around fellow fixie foos, I think @piggy_banks_official might have the most stylish skids I’ve seen in person… I was highly tempted to put the Tokyo drifting soundtrack over this but I think the tire sounds on the pavement is more satisfying :)
Been having a blast riding weekly with @piggy_banks_official and @irvin_jay_san on our local Hamilton night rides, I’ll have to explore more of the New Zealand Fixedgear community soon

A night to remember - one of our last stops on the America road trip, linking up with @slumworm, @jake_ricker and @mashsf for a night of mashing around SF. Check out the photo gallery on Wheeltalk for all of the photos :)
Hopefully one day I’ll live in one of the same cities as the euro guys so we can ride more. Until then, it might be more America trips to catch up 😂
✨ Making something out of nothing ✨
Waiting for a friend in a car park lead to playing around on some curbs, but let’s be honest, most of my riding had been on curbs so there’s nothing really new here 😂

Some Sydney film photos from @ben.ji14 that I love
Just before racing @cmwc2025sydney we managed to go to one of the Thicc Thigh Thursday rides, something I always try and do when I’m in Sydney. The second, third and fourth photos were taken at Redfern park just before the ride, whilst the first and last photos were taken at a pump track we met up at after the racing. This was just before I rushed to @omafiets , packed my bike up in 20 mins (a personal record, aided by the wonderful people there) and headed to the airport for America.

Big change in 2026! We’re moving to New Zealand! As my favourite Kiwi @antoniatthorpe is doing a (one year) masters of teaching in Hamilton, I thought it would be fun to follow along for the ride :) Keen to see more of the country by bike, so if you’re from the North or South Island, hit me up! I’ll have the Fixedgear and MTB for trick and trail/bikepacking purposes 🙃

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
