These are the peace makers; living legends crossing the divide, pulling wisdom from our ancestors - and placing it in the hands of our children.

To be in the same space as the creator and participants of Fandango at the Wall - the people who have helped reach across the walls which divide us, to connect one side with another - with music! As a San Diego native who has watched the changes of our bordering communities, your story, your music, your presence caused me to hold back tears. Thank you for your deeply moving work.

And to hear a woman whose voice of peace caused an entire ballroom to pause and collectively hold our breath to catch every word. Dr Berenice King, whose father - and mother - are the greatest activists for civil rights across all time and space, which Dr. King carries forward with her own strength and wisdom.

Team NCRC once again organized more than a fabulous dinner and awards gala; the room was filled to the brim with those who not only want change, but have the gumption and tenacity to create real action for the next order of world leaders.

There are more recipients and countless beautiful moments.The event will be sharing their photos with the attendees soon. This is simply our little moment of gratitude for an evening of continual capture, which was worth every lovely moment.
