Jinsik Yoo is a ceramic sculptor from Daejeon, South Korea. He creates work that abstracts the human form in order to think about desire, queer relations, and otherness. Yoo earned his MFA from Alfred University in 2019, and completed the residency program at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia following graduation. In January 2024, Yoo held his first US solo exhibition at Greenwich House Pottery. He presented his first solo show in Korea in July 2025 at Seoul’s DrawingRoom Gallery, where he is a represented artist. He joined the University of South Dakota as an Assistant Professor in fall 2025.
Jinsik will offer demonstrations from 8:30am to 11am on Monday, February 16th and Tuesday, February 17th with an Artist Talk Monday evening at 5pm. These events are all open to the public, please join us in welcoming Jinsik.

“Between Us” is an atmospheric exhibition celebrating the porousness between self, material, and community. In wood firing, raku, salt, soda, pit firing, and every atmospheric process, our work becomes a record of proximity~ what lies between us and the heat, between us and the air, between us and the people we fire alongside.
This exhibition highlights that relational space. We invite work that acknowledges how our environments~ kilns, land, weather, labor, chosen family~ shape the outcomes of our making. Like Queer theory itself, atmospheric firings insist that transformation is not a solitary act; it is co-created, interdependent, and gloriously unpredictable. The show honors the ways queer artists carve out space, make heat together, hold one another, and reimagine worlds through material practice.
This call is open specifically to queer artists, including those whose identities, practices, or lived experiences resonate with queer understandings of permeability, kinship, and collective becoming. Handbuilding, wheel throwing, casting, ephemeral forms, installation, and nontraditional methods are welcome. Atmospheric work is especially encouraged, including pieces influenced by or born from wood firing, raku, soda, salt, or other processes that emphasize exchange between flame, surface, and environment.

Queer Atmosphere is growing!! We are in the process of forming a board and getting some volunteer positions like social media manager, fundraising positions, and regional reps. These roles will help us expand the reach of QA, and allow us to start bringing gender affirmative and identity conscious firing events to queer artists all over the country. The links to the board application and the volunteer application are in our bio, please check them out and refer any friends you think might be good for the roles as well. QA is community focused and community built, we can't wait to work with more of you, bring more events to you, and better serve the queer ceramics community. If you have any questions please email us at queeratmosphereceramics@gmail.com
Lots of love,
QA

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
