Loosely based on the beautiful, chaotic, occasionally disastrous truth of my own beginnings in this industry, I decided to smuggle those memories into the 1990s — because let’s be honest, it’s the best era porn ever had. The sweat was real. The drama was loud. The outfits were louder. And for me, it’s always been the golden hour of the Valley. So I didn’t just make this — I felt it.

The Doctrine.

I am still searching for the full words and I am not sure I have them yet. What I know is that this film reminded me why I do this. Every person on that set showed up fully and gave everything to a story that required real courage and real commitment.

Small Hands you led this cast as the oldest brother with authority and heart. Codey Steele my always go to. Logan Xander and Nade Nasty it was an honor and you both genuinely impressed me.

Octavia Red you are a tour de force and every scene you were in commanded the room completely. Lexi Luna your acting in this film was incredible. Remy Lacroix we go way back and you played this role with perfection . Lilly Bell always above and beyond. Ava Amira you are stunning and you brought absolutely everything to this part. Rissa May you never stop surprising me and exceeding every expectation.

Tommy Gunn long overdue and worth every moment. Jason Sarcinelli thank you for bringing such a pivotal presence to this film.

To my crew. You showed up every single day and gave this film everything it needed to become what it is. The locations, the lighting, the camera work, the energy you maintained through long days and demanding scenes. You never flinched. You never cut corners. You took the vision I brought and elevated it into something I could not have built alone. What we made together on those days is something I will carry with me for a long time. Some people come into your life for a moment… and some stay and become part of your foundation. Claudia is that for me.

I’ve known Claudia for 17 years. We met on an Axel Braun set way back, and from the very beginning we worked on so many projects together honestly, all of them during that era. Over time, that working relationship turned into something a lot deeper.

When I got my opportunity to start directing, we needed an editor… and Claudia stepped in and cut my first films—The Red Room, Deranged, Privilege, Reckless. Those projects mean everything to me because they were my foundation. That’s where I learned how to tell stories, how to shape performances, how to really see a movie. And Claudia was a huge part of that. I’m still learning to this day, and I’m grateful I got to learn alongside someone with her level of experience and creativity.

For the last six years, she’s also been my production manager… my right hand. We’ve been through a lot together. Highs, lows, everything in between. At this point, she’s family to me… I literally call her Aunt Claudia sometimes 😂

Watching her step into directing these past few years has been incredible. I recently had the chance to be in her film Through Her Lens, and it was honestly one of the top five experiences of my career. Seeing her in that role, fully in her element, was something special.

And now watching her expand even more working as a production manager with Ricky Greenwood who never stops shooting and is amazing at what he does it just makes me proud. She’s built to handle all of it, and she does it at a high level across the board.

I wouldn’t be half the director I am today without her. That’s just the truth. I’ve learned so much from her, and I continue to. But more than anything, I’m just grateful she’s my friend and that we’ve built the kind of bond we have over all these years.
