The Fabularium is a vibrant and exciting outdoor performance company based in Coventry, UK.
Spring is upon us, and with that The Fabularium has begun stirring out of Winter hibernation and started prep for the year to come! We’ve been busy behind the scenes tour booking, organising our storage spaces, and tinkering away with our website (still in development).
It’ll be a short while until we can announce our complete touring plans, but in the meantime allow us to share our first 2026 tour announcement: We are very excited to be returning to @wildernesshq, to perform There Be Monsters!
Please note: You need to book a slot to come and see our show at the festival, and you must also be attending Wilderness Festival in order to book. Booking isn’t open yet, but when it is you can book your slot via their website.
We’ll be sharing more festival and event dates when we can. We look forward to seeing you out on the road this Spring/Summer.

Our final show of the summer is happening THIS SATURDAY! We’re getting ready to take to the streets with The Carnival of the Animals one more time, at @derbyfeste 🎉
Catch us for songs, silly-ness and sunshine (hopefully!) at 12:20pm, 2pm and 3:40pm in and around Derby Market Hall, Osnabruck Square, Cornmarket & Cathedral Square

Normally on this weekend in August we’d be out in the fields of Cheshire, amidst a sea of amazingly dressed animals with huge smiles on their faces. We would be collecting golden pebbles, singing to our hearts content, and dancing the night away!

🎭 The fabularium are an outdoor theatre company based in coventry. They have been around since 2010, initially set up as research to enhance skills in performance and support the development of postgraduates in association with coventry university.
🍿 They work internationally, both indoors and outdoors in festivals, events, theatres using puppetry, story-telling, and much more. Most recently their work comprises of Pan and The Eternal Wreck, The Nighttime Menagerie, Hare and The Moon, and ’The Naughty Sheep’ (@ Glastonbury no less!!) to name a few, but check their insta for more updates!
🩷 The fabularium will be joining transformations’ explore programme on the 27th may, and are looking for creatives who have any interest in theatre, producing, directing, acting, and all things performance.
