I’ve done 2 out of five on this list.
I’ve gotten stuck in my corset during a performance and I have definitely blanked in the middle of an act.
Not sure what falling on stage will be like, if it ever happens… but hopefully adrenaline will be a helpful friend.

The evolution of *Lady in Red.*
From forgetting my bra the very first time I performed this act… to feeling a lot more confident and present in her now.
One of the things I struggle with most after performing is watching my performance videos back. There have been weeks where I avoided pressing play completely. Either because I felt really good about a performance and didn’t want to ruin that feeling, or because I already knew where I messed up and didn’t want to watch it back.
But a lot of my growth didn’t start happening until I finally sucked it up and started watching. As uncomfortable as it is, it’s become one of the most important parts of improving.
It’s also taught me that skill building isn’t linear. Sometimes, in my opinion, I performed something better the first or second time than I did the seventh. Some nights I feel stronger, some nights I feel off.
What’s changed most is that I don’t hate my mistakes the way I used to. I’m starting to see them more as information than failure.

I did it! I completed my first improv burlesque show. Don’t get me wrong. It was challenging, especially since my go to’s are sultry and slow burn type of music and acts. It was nice to experiment with Bad Bunny’s Debi Tirar Mas Fotos. Which is opposite to what his usual sexy songs are. So, I really needed to get out of my head, listen to the music, and just let it go. And it was a lot of fun! It was fun to play in real time with the audience. Thank you @lilylavalocks for having me and for having a show like yours where we can just play❤️❤️❤️
