Sound artist @vahakn___ presents a hybrid set with a laptop and some hardware. Hard to describe what he is going to do but he did mention halftime, jungle and broken beat in a recent conversation, in addition to multi-channel jam sessions, Karlheinz Stockhausen and electroacoustic theory.

Active since 1997, soundsystem head Mee_K packs an unsurpassable knowledge of sound engineering and audio production, as evidenced through his Adubodub alias and other creative projects incorporating elements of performative and visual art and dance with sound and moving image. But tonight he’s got a fat stack of records to cut and scratch for us.

datacentre returns for 2026 with sound artist @synapse_archives_ (Zé Borges), who opens tonight’s Pandora’s box. “Conceived for low light, physical sound and late-night listening [...] textural language drifts further into dub-inflected atmospheres and jungle-oriented rhythmic frameworks,” tonight’s his first live appearance since 2024, when he released the four-track Musae EP and the opening track ‘Static Drift on POLY6, a VA on the Porto label Polyester.

Closing out 2025, datacentre invites @dr_walker_liquid_sky to the @darc.desterro server for a rare live performance.

A driving force of the 90s techno scene in Germany, Ingmar Koch boasts an impressive discography, starting out in 1991 with a debut release on his Structure imprint, a precursor to the prolific Kompakt label co-founded with Wolfgang Voigt in 1998.

A relentless output of material that helped craft the ‘Sound of Cologne’ followed under at least 50 aliases on numerous solo releases and compilations, including standout collaborations with partner Cem
Oral (Khan) in the quintessential duos Air Liquide and Jammin’ Unit, Holger Czukay, Freddy Fresh, and Mike Ink (W. Voigt), to name but a few.

Now residing in Portugal in the deep Alentejo, Ingmar runs a reforestation project and the d-vices hardware initiative as part of the Liquid Sky artist collective and is a member of the PPG
synthesizer brand.

On the decks from open to close, selector-general @_miguel_sa_ joins the lineup, with lasers and light provided by multimedia artist @codigodebarra.xyz (Diana Barra).

EILIYAS [EUA/DE]

Eiliyas is a Macon born, Atlanta bred, Berlin-based artist working with music, sound design, creative writing and conceptual art. He also is host and curator of @mixtapemenage , a platform for becoming familiar with creators and cultural facilitators of the world through sound.

He is the artistic director and lead curator of the event series @blackcommunionberlin celebrating Black people from all over in sound art and experimental/explorative music.

DAVID BILEK [DE]

In this performance, @stoertebeckker presents the results of his audio research centred on provoking artifacts and glitches through different processing and remixing techniques. Using these processed fragments as raw material, Bilek employs his self-programmed musical environment to collage and assemble his findings, creating a coherent “Indiescape” that bridges urban field recordings and contemporary musical forms.

The foundation of his work transforms soundscapes from Cairo into new territories, translating their cultural signifiers into the framework of indie music. The core of Bilek's practice focuses on how AI systems interpret and transform distinctive sonic elements when pushed to their limits, revealing connections between environmental recordings and musical structures.

datacentre is back for round 34 and the first edition of 2025. This time Rag (@ezio1.0_guestlist_dj ) and Edo (@faga_sap1 ) from local bar @ocio_lx provide the sound for the first part. Palestinian-British dj/producer @yajiyuso closes the night on the ones and twos.

“In the early 2000s, Yajiyuso (Omar) began collecting and digging in London’s then plentiful record stores: (Eukatech, Swag, Sounds of the Universe, Honest Jon’s, Blackmarket, Berwick St, etc). The start of an obsessive and passionate relationship with vinyl. First gigs from 2003 onwards were in East London warehouse parties, as well as other smaller venues. Later, when living and working beyond Europe, Omar held residencies at Dubai’s “Analog Room” from 2015-2017 and “Savage” in Hanoi between 2017/2018, as well as playing in Hong Kong and mini-festivals in and around Hanoi.

In 2017, Omar set up a vinyl only label “Indigenous Electronic”, which has had 4 releases to date, and plays by some of the most discerning and quality underground vinyl DJs in the scene. The focus of the label - (covering the full spectrum, but never to veer away from dance-floor, analogue sounds) – aims to showcase both known, underrated and undiscovered talent particularly from spaces where producers might have less exposure to the industry.

In late 2019, Yajiyuso (Omar), moved back to Europe. Relocating to Lisbon, in part, due to Brexit, where his focus was initially getting lost down the wormhole of modular synthesis, with a return to gigging again post pandemic.”
