What does Ballet and Paw Patrol have in common? The answer is: not much but we made it happen 🩰🐶😍!

The celebration featured a pink draped ceiling, a “Pawfect Match” pup adoption center, a custom ballet stage, a Puppy *Barre* (I felt very clever for that one) that featured custom lattes and hot chocolates with Sky, Everest and the girls on them, life sized art walls that the kids could color, a moon bounce and a ball pit that felt like the thunderdrome and tiny tutus everywhere.

We truly love planning and designing kids celebrations- our littlest clients are so creative, and leaning into a theme in such a whimsical way is such a joy!

The venue space was constructed from the ground up and he ran all the electrical. And before any of that could happen, he had to clear a mini forest just to make space for it all.

Turns out this wasn’t new for him either. He also built their family’s Korean restaurants.

In all my years photographing weddings, I’ve never seen this level of production powered by the love for family. Also nothing quite gets me like when Asian dads that get emotional. Iykyk.

HER DAD BUILT THE VENUE.

Over a year of designing and over 6 months of hard labor. Sylvia and David got married on her family’s property and yes… her dad built almost everything you see.

The house (which is also their home) where she got ready? Built by him.
The guest house where they hosted an after party? Also built by him.

The venue space was constructed from the ground up and he ran all the electrical. And before any of that could happen, he had to clear a mini forest just to make space for it all.

Turns out this wasn’t new for him either. He also built their family’s Korean restaurants.

In all my years photographing weddings, I’ve never seen this level of production powered by the love for family. Also nothing quite gets me like when Asian dads that get emotional. Iykyk.

Last frame is just Sylvia and David under the tent, soaking in everything that happened the night before.
