This has been a big video for us, one that as soon as Samson brought the song to us we knew we needed to match with some insane visuals. As a directing duo who tend to step into every role just out of necessity it made a huge difference having @ojginn there to do what he does best as 1st AD and keep us on target, we for sure wouldn't have been able to get everything without him not to mention his creative abilities outside of his role helping us on the fly to make each shot even better.

@wopvisuals.jpg has been a long time friend of ours and mutual support whenever we've been making stuff so I feel really honoured to have him make this for us and become a really valued collaborator, I think what he's able to achieve speaks for itself not to mention his insane work ethic and just overall positive vibe on the day despite our complete erratic plan and probably quite worrying lack of apparent preparation.

Want to also take one more opportunity to thank Samson and @chezza.2.0 for the creative direction but also the space and trust in us to bring their vision to life, you can always tell the difference when an artist and team of their calibre is in your corner and working with you to make something sick.

Thanks to anyone who's shown support for this project and for any of our other work it honestly means so much.

@bertie.newman's latest release 'Lighthouse' filmed in Southend by @oscar.horseman and @joe_heap during sunset. A beautiful song we felt needed subtle but striking imagery invoking the hazy memory of old times. Out now on YouTube.

And of course, a big thank you to all you guys who came out in Copenhagen, meant so much because of my heritage 🇩🇰 and performing there as my last night as an 18 year old was sick too haha.

Told this story on stage, but apparently my Far (Father/Dad in Danish) used to come to the same venue (RUST) 20 years ago so that was pretty cool and special.
