During his trip, Charles met with 20 dance companies in five days watching rehearsals, performances and discussing international touring.

A vibrant and exciting arts scene, relationships were forged, and discussions are underway for some of these companies to travel to Dallas.

@momixofficial is closing out the 25:26 season with their performance of ‘BOTANICA,’ a stunning journey through the rhythms of the seasons and the ever-changing shapes of life on Earth.

Created in 2009, Momix revived the classic piece in 2026, which is a feast for the eyes and the perfect show for the whole family.

@gallimdanceco makes their Dallas debut on May 29 and 30 at Moody Performance Hall!

The discussion offers insight into the bold, physical, and deeply expressive work of one of Canada’s leading contemporary dance companies. Gain a deeper understanding of Magnificat and The Rite of Spring, two powerful works that showcase Marie Chouinard’s striking choreographic voice and her fearless exploration of the body, music, and ritual.

Join us for a FREE masterclass on Saturday May 2 from 10:30-noon at @btwhspva with Celeste Robbins with @compagniemariechouinard!

This 90-minute workshop explores fundamental principles such as time, space, and the shifting nature of bodily energy and its many forms. Through guided explorations of breath, facial musculature, spinal articulation, and internal connections, participants are invited to deepen their physical awareness and expand their expressive range.

Our master classes are completely free and open to all. Through this program, dancers of all ages and skill levels can learn from professional dancers, opening up access to the arts.

The performance will be part of TITAS’ UNFILTERED series that comes with the tagline “If you’re easily offended, don’t come.” The performance is included in the series due to nudity and is the only installment of this series this season.
