@_empara “Won’t You Come Closer?”

An in-progress showing of a new choreographic work. Dancers plead for connection in a world saturated by misinformation and technological mediation. Moving toward one another through the fog, they cling to shreds of sanity within the collective unconscious.

@nana_ve_ “A Serpent’s Lullaby”

In her solo work “A Serpent’s Lullaby,” Nana conjures a mythical landscape where she shapeshifts into a serpent-like creature to explore the transformational power of the Earth. She is drawing on the lineages of archetypes such as Shiva from Hinduism and Nuwa from Ancient China to navigate the delicate tension between destruction and creation, and by doing so, confront her own inner darkness. This solo is an act of reclaiming ancient myths of Asia that have been historically exoticized and depoliticized within Western archives, as well as a collective call to confront one’s deepest wounds and catalyze a journey toward healing and enlightenment.

Pour Deux is a Los Angeles duo of Charles (producer, synth) and Coco Garvin (vocals, flute), combining textured electronics, intimate vocals, and airy flute into immersive, atmospheric songs.
