Lucie Chang Fine Arts is pleased to announce that our gallery founder @lucie_chang was interviewed by @serica.venice within the art space of our new exhibition, ”Il Dolce Far Niente“ (東西閒情), sharing her insights into the exhibition‘s origin and curatorial vision. 🎨

The exhibition features representative works by Zhu Xinjian (朱新建), an iconic figure in Chinese contemporary art, and Italian artist Thomas Braida. Coming together in this historic city, these two artists from vastly different backgrounds explore the collision and symbiosis of Eastern and Western painting languages within a contemporary context, offering a shared interpretation of this deeply philosophical theme.

The exhibition will remain on view until May 30. We cordially invite art lovers and collectors to visit and witness this artistic practice that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries. ✨

This exhibition fosters a sophisticated dialogue between two distinctive artistic voices: the late Chinese master Zhu Xinjian and the contemporary Italian artist Thomas Braida @braidathomas . The exhibition explores the shared human condition and the concept of “the sweetness of doing nothing” across different cultural landscapes.

Situated in the historic heart of Venice, this collaboration with serica VENICE reaffirms our gallery’s commitment to promoting global artistic exchange and providing a platform for rigorous cross-cultural discourse.
