‘A Good Day’ is out 🪲

This song speaks about violence against women in all its forms.

It was inspired by something I experienced myself: I was walking with my best friend and suddenly I was groped by a man on the street.

This is just one small example of the physical, verbal and structural violence women face since the day they are born.

Being able to live one good day is the simplest yet hardest request a woman has to make.

All I needed was a good day.

Per la Giornata internazionale della donna vi proponiamo questa intensa live session di “A Good Day” di Clio M, progetto solista di Clio Colombo che teniamo d’occhio da un po’. Il brano affronta il tema della violenza sulle donne in tutte le sue forme ed è ispirato da un episodio di molestia subito per strada. Il testo riflette su come ogni donna voglia semplicemente vivere la propria giornata senza che venga rovinata da una violenza piccola o grande, fisica o verbale, individuale o strutturale. Un appello scandito da un beat apparentemente up-tempo e leggero.
