I can vividly remember being seated on Saturdays at PUSH, hearing moving and emotional words of hope and action, learning what it meant to embrace a world of struggle and to stand in the gap for those who couldn’t fight for themselves.
Rev. Jackson, you kept hope alive. Not just in speeches, but in streets, in policy, in prayer.
Thank you for your mentorship and love not only for the family but for the world. An ancestor in real time. A prophet who reminded us we are somebody.
