First Team Acting was born out of my deep love for storytelling, but the vibe? That’s all pure disco-lit magic, straight from the heart of the 70s. 💃🪩

As a hustle dancer (shout out to @hustleatrs !), I’ve fallen head over heels for the colors, textures, and infectious energy of that golden era. It's movement, mood, and just the right amount of sparkle—all rolled into one.

When it came time to bring my brand to life, I knew I needed the perfect collaborators, and I couldn't have asked for a better team than the dream duo I worked with:

📸 Alayna Burn of @inspiredbyaaphotography —her incredible talent behind the lens captured the very soul of our story with pure cinematic magic. Many more photoshoots in our future!!

🎨 Lauren Moreno of @fridahouse.co — she not only brought the vision to life with a brand design that seamlessly blends modern clarity and vintage charm in the most breathtaking way - she also fully styled me from outfits to poses for this shoot!

I’m BEYOND grateful for the opportunity to work with these two visionaries who elevated the shoot beyond anything I imagined, while making me feel so comfortable and cool as heck!

From warm burnt oranges and sun-faded golds to the grain of old film and the electric energy of a set just before “Action!”—this shoot was eeeeeeverything I hoped for and more. It’s modern vintage, groovy glam, and of course, First Team Acting. 🎞️

Congratulations to Erin Michell @erinmichell on her first TV commercial booking with @kathleenmayrscasting 💫

Erin has worked in theater and film across Canada for over a decade as a movement coordinator, choreographer, and actor. She’s currently choreographing an animation series for Mattel Inc. and recently worked with Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun on the film Love Me.

When not working on set, Erin coaches actors in training and audition prep, and is passionate about helping young stars find their feet in the film/tv industry. In her spare time she helps run the Hustle at RS Dance Society, a non-profit organization leading Vancouver’s Hustle social dance scene!
