On June 6th, the modeling industry is coming together for something bigger than fashion.

Join The Supermodel Project for our Supermodel Project World Oceans Day Model Beach Cleanup at Coney Island — held in support of United Nations World Oceans Day — bringing together models, photographers, stylists, artists, and creatives for a day of impact, community, and connection.

Last year, over 100 models showed up.
This year, we’re making it even bigger.

CONFESSIONS OF A MODEL AGENT 11. One day I found a model book sitting in the agency that nobody was paying attention to.

This kid from Gothenburg, Sweden.

He looked completely strange. Almost like Dracula. Too weird. Too intense. Too different.

I loved him instantly.
I sent him out anyway.

Within weeks he booked a huge campaign and suddenly became one of the hottest new faces in New York.

That’s the crazy thing about this industry:
sometimes someone can go from complete obscurity to fashion star almost overnight.

And then came the part nobody prepares them for…

He made more money in 3 months than he’d ever seen in his life.

I told him to save it.
Invest it.
Protect it.

Instead, he spent every dollar partying through one wild New York summer with his friends.

At the time I thought he was insane.

Now?
Part of me thinks maybe he understood youth better than the rest of us.
