I’m currently on my third flight of the week. Next week will be 3 states in a week for work travel. Realizing weeks like that have turned into an afterthought. Views like this one have become more the norm than being stationary at times. I recognize this isn’t a universal norm, but it’s becoming a quite comfort zone. Even on the days that making my next flight seems highly unlikely 😂.

Maybe its learning to recognizing what I can control and that I can figure out those things I can?Wisesdom in which battles to stress?

The light and the darkness.

This one’s for the graduate student who found their light and passion in the past. Whose current dream job is to sit with Roman history. And their willingness to share their knowledge, inspiration, and spark with those they meet.

Unrelated, to this photo but has a similar balance of light and darkness.. A true gem in one of my film communities flickered out too soon recently. Their laugh made me love my job and feel genuine joy, kindness, and excitement in the moments we shared together. Taking an extra moment of gratitude for people such as this, whom I've been lucky enough to have crossed paths with in light of this 🤍. This is for the people we meet who share their passion and light with us, even briefly.
