˗ˏˋ ★ donate + get a sticker sheet ★ˎˊ˗

if you’re a music industry professional (sorry or congratulations) and this sticker sheet gave you a giggle or a groan, here’s how you can get it:

donate $10 or more to the @mw_bondfund, show me proof of your donation via the link in my bio, and i’ll send you a sticker sheet!

about MIBF:
The Midwest Immigration Bond Fund was formed through a coalition in 2020 and began paying out immigration bonds for IL, IN, WI, and KY residents as funds allow in February 2021.

The Midwest Immigration Bond Fund facilitates a revolving immigration bond fund to pay immigration bonds that frees individuals from ICE custody and gathers community to advocate for the abolition of immigration detention and surveillance.

(long caption alert, but pls read) — I’ve been thinking very heavily about Minnesota the last few months. Even though I’ve lived in Chicago for nearly 13 years now, I grew up in the Twin Cities.

Had nearly all my birthday parties at Mall of America (the better version, back when it had Camp Snoopy). My family made sure go to the Holidazzle Parade every year. Went to as many Wild and Twins games as my dad could manage. My very first job ever was at the Minneapolis Central Library and I was a proud volunteer at the VA Medical Center.

In high school, I would sneak out of the house to go to DIY basement shows in Minneapolis (the bands were terrible and I sat on a washer). And when I started screen printing out of my parents’ garage it was for those very same bands (my very first client, Teenage Mushroom Experiment, thank you wherever you are).

What’s happening in this country is not just news. It’s not just a casual conversation topic. It’s not just happening—it’s happening TO SOMEONE. It’s happening in Minnesota, in Texas, in Seattle, in Michigan, in Chicago… it’s a reality happening to someone EVERYWHERE.

There are so many people I deeply love and care about living in Minneapolis and the greater Twin Cities area. Some who are out there every day and every night observing and documenting what our government is doing to their city. To OUR cities.

Despite my ever-growing fear for their safety simply going about their day, they inspire me to be brave as I continue to organize with my neighbors to support our own communities here in Chicago.

I know the real integrity of this country’s love by the people. By the people who’ve shown up, taught me, loved me. Who’ve welcomed me, my father, my mother, and countless others like us tired, poor, huddled, and yearning to breathe free. Given a place to call home.

I don’t know how long this dark tunnel will last, who knows when we’ll see the light at the end of it. But I know we can’t get there unless we hold onto eachother and protect one another with everything we’ve got.

Do good. Be good. I love you.

Today’s my birthday!!!!!!

I just wanted to hop on here to say thank you for all of the many years of designing :)

I get to create stuff every day, all by the grace of the people who want to create stuff together. It’s not lost on me that this is such a wonderful thing I’ve spent nearly half my life being able to do. My career and my life are filled with such unexpected joys just because so many of you let me do the thing I love doing.

So! If you’ve ever hired me for a thing, let me make you a thing, or even cheered me on from the internet… I am indebted to not only your support, but also your kindness.

Thanks for being my friends, fans, and everything in between!!!!

P.S. - I pinky promise I will respond to my freelance emails soon lol

Congrats @tasteofrandolph! 🎊

Over the last few months, I had the pleasure of creating the brand identity and poster. It was important for me to highlight some of the things that remind you of West Loop: the elevated tracks, the architecture, building motifs and styles. I hope people find some familiar facades!

Thank you sosososo much @duff.entertainment and @westloopco for the trust in this project 🙏🏽 Braden especially. We’ve clocked in over 100 emails and still counting.

Street fest season is upon us and its one of the best parts of Summertime Chi in my opinion. Hope to see you outside!!!

(long caption alert whew) — I very much like to keep my personal life personal, but I think Bo would’ve reveled in hearing me say such nice things about him because I was always (very lovingly) teasing him.

If there’s anything I want people to know, it’s that Bo had this amazing ability of loving you so easily. And If you’re anything like me, often times in life it felt like there were too many fucked up things about you to believe that was possible. But Bo cut through all the noise, the static, and he saw you. He understood. He was so relentless in reminding you how much he cared about you, I think that’s what I will miss about him the most. Bo never let you believe even for a second that he wasn’t in your corner.

No matter how big or small, he was always cheering on his friends. Whether it was in a text or over a cup of coffee when our crazy schedules aligned, all the cool shit and not-so-cool shit I made and did over the years always got a round of applause from him. Even stuff that I hated, he cheered for that too. Sometimes louder.

Last year, he wouldn’t stop agonizing about playing the same time as Agnostic Front at Riot Fest. He hated knowing he was going to miss it so we started workshopping some solutions. He jokingly suggested “Maybe I’ll skip our set. It’s fine. No one will notice I’m missing, right?” And I told him that wasn’t possible. “Everyone will notice if you’re gone, Bo.”

And in the last week the world has felt truly… less, without him here. Something is off-kilter; shifted in a way that’s unrecognizable.

We were going to grab coffee soon. You were just telling me about all this laundry you just did. I’m so angry I can’t find a single photo of us together in any file or folder of mine. I just always assumed we’d see each other again. That there’d be another time. More time.

My endless love goes out to Wendy, Taylor, Colin, Harms Way, HardLore, all his cherished people. To every person whose friendship and soul he held so radiantly in his hands.

From Mo to Bo, I’m so thankful our paths ran parallel for a little while. Love lingers. I’ll look for you when the lights start flickering.

(swipe to the end for a surprise)

as a lifelong MCR fan, i was honored and SO stoked when they reached out to put a look and feel to their project! wanted to create something that gave the feeling of a secret society with art nouveau elements and that still held the classic MCR aesthetic for fans. i had so much fun drawing this and i can’t wait to see what the RATS have in store for ya 🫶🏽

and as a treat, here are photos of frank meeting ME and us bein besties lmao 😌

Instagram Stories geheim ansehen
