We’re honored to welcome Matthew Thompson as our Wednesday keynote speaker at Living Future 2026.

As editor of Headway at The New York Times, Matt leads reporting on the world’s most urgent challenges — and the people working to solve them. Throughout his career, he has built newsrooms that interrogate power, examine institutions, and surface the systems shaping our lives.

At LF26, we’re exploring what it means to build infrastructure that is durable, equitable, and transparent.

Still feeling the energy from last week ✨

What happened over those few days was more than a conference—it was a coming together of ideas, people, and purpose. The conversations, the in-between moments, the sparks of inspiration… that’s what stays with us.

To everyone who showed up, shared, listened, and connected, thank you for making it what it was.

We’re carrying this forward.

Moments of Brilliance returns to the LF26 main stage next week!

A series of short, powerful talks from voices reshaping how we think about the world around us.

This year, we’re featuring Flavia Pereira, whose journey from the Brazilian Amazon to founding Anduba is redefining where Indigenous art belongs; bringing it into the spaces where we live, work, and gather.

Joining her is Jared Della Valle, offering a bold perspective on what we build and who it’s really for.

Two voices. One powerful shift in perspective.

On Tuesday, April 14, Julian Brave NoiseCat takes the LF26 mainstage.

Oscar-nominated filmmaker, writer, and policy advocate, NoiseCat moves between story and structure, between what we feel and what we formalize. His new book, We Survived the Night, explores Indigenous identity, history, and survival.

Julian will also be signing copies of his book onsite after the session.

The future isn’t abstract. It’s legislated, designed, funded, and fought for. Julian’s stories remind us why every choice matters.

There’s a tension between specifying materials that feel good and materials that do good, especially in high-use interiors like healthcare, hospitality, and learning environments.

At Living Future 2026 we’ll explore where performance and health intersect in everyday choices.

Materials like Durasein® Solid Surface speak to that intersection: a homogeneous, non-porous surface that resists stains, chemicals, heat, and bacteria while keeping a refined aesthetic and with the transparency of a Declare label behind it.

These are the kinds of practical decisions that matter once you’re past aspiration and deep into execution.

There’s a quiet layer of design that shapes how buildings actually feel to occupy: acoustics, light quality, and the materials overhead that we rarely notice, unless they aren’t working.

At Living Future 2026, we’ll explore how the everyday decisions inside buildings add up to healthier, more resilient places over time.

Materials like Rockfon Alaska® ceiling tiles sit right at that intersection: high acoustic performance (NRC up to 0.90), strong light reflectance to support brighter interiors, and the transparency of a Declare label with Red List Approved status.

These are the kinds of practical material choices that move regenerative design from concept to construction.

Performance + transparency + everyday impact — that’s LF26 territory.

Instagram Stories geheim ansehen
