Last week, the 4th Annual Unplugged & Uncorked (@unpluggedanduncorked) took place at The @ZiegfeldBallroom and we raised over ONE MILLION DOLLARS for @musiciansoncall while drinking some amazing wine!

I’m grateful for the hard work of my fellow co-chairs, Glenn Nordlinger, Michael Dorf and Pete Griffin.

This is the speech I prepared…meant every word:

Much respect to the other nominees, truly great company to be included in.  What can be said about Louie Messina or Barrie Marshall?  Two icons and I’m lucky to know them.  Congratulations to you both on your hall of fame inductions.
 
When I joined AEG in 2018, I had no idea I’d ever win an award for doing something I love.  Promoter of the year is a bit of a misleading award, I’m part of an amazing team at AEG that spans around the globe that I am fortunate to work alongside every day.  Many of them here and I’m so grateful for what we’ve built together as a team and what the future holds for us.  I share this award with all of the people at AEG, truly a team win.
 
Thank you to Jay Marciano for his leadership and support of our Touring team.  Thank you to my wife Emily @emmkenns for being the most patient and loving person in my life and tolerating the insanity.  Thank you to all of the venues and their staffs who provide the canvas for artists to paint their masterpieces every night.  We should talk about some of your expenses, but maybe another time…
 
Of course, none of us would be here without the artists.  I think we work with the best artists and artists teams in the world and it’s truly an honor to be a part of their careers. 
 
Being part of this live music community is really special and meaningful for me.  The relationships and friendships I’ve formed during my career are among the most valuable in my life.  Let’s never forget there’s a human side of this business and make sure we look after one and other and treat each other with respect.  Thank you Pollstar, thank you to everyone who voted and before I go, I’d like to dedicate this award to my friend Ryan McElrath, one of the best promoters I’ve had the pleasure of working with and someone I wish was here tonight to give me a hard time about winning this.
