It's when you think He's forgotten about you, that He reminds you that He's doing something new. And what's within you is so much greater than what's in front of you.
The time has come to focus 🙏🏾
Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, Light in the darkness, my God
That is who You are.

Happy Sunday friends! We're sending love and good vibes your way with a Nina Simone cover of Feeling Good 🙏🏽
If you missed our first Livestream, no worries. We're preparing something special for the end of this Month for you.
I'm super excited, because music has always been the stitching to the fabric of our lives. More than ever we need more meaningful and non-judgmental spaces where creatives are able to create in our most vulnerable state.
Within a world that's falling apart at the seams, we must remember people need people and music creates that bridge of hope for artist to serve wholeheartedly and freely in our communities.
I'm beyond grateful to be back in this head space musically and with some incredible friends/ musicians.
Until next time, share, repost and show us some postive VIBEZ in the comments 💋

Every note felt like a reminder… that life is happening now.
Be in it. Be grateful. Be the love you want to see and feel.

I don’t share a lot of the work I do, but when I do, it’s intentional.
As we prepare for Black Maternal Mental Health Week, I’m holding close the impact of this season and the responsibility that comes with it.
The 2026 Black Maternal Health Week (#BMHW26), founded by the @blackmamasmatter, runs April 11-17th under this year’s powerful theme: “Rooted in Justice & Joy.” And as the days approaches, I’m reflecting deeply on what that truly means in practice…not just in message.
Last month in DC, I was honored to join the Maternal Mental Health Forum with the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health as a guest vocalist for the 6th year. That experience grounded me even further in my “WHY” and expanded how I understand my role in this work.
As a mindful music meditation practitioner, I’ve always known how powerful music is, but being in that space affirmed something deeper: Music is not just something I offer… it is a pathway to regulation, expression, and healing. A way for mothers to reconnect with themselves in the midst of everything they carry.
What struck me most was the depth of commitment in that room.
The women and men in this space aren’t just professionals—
they are advocates, protectors, life-savers, and truth-tellers.
They are pushing for systems that truly see, hear, and support mothers in their most vulnerable moments.
And this work needs more of us. If any of this resonates with you, let’s connect. I’m happy to assist with tools and resources.

“While we must endure the work of growth, we can’t bear it alone. To be comforted, understood, and strengthened, we need God and people with us.
Jesus was dependent on God and people. He taught us to be like him and ask God for our daily bread (Matt. 6:11). Yet he also asked his close friends to be present with him in his dark hour (Matt. 26:38). We can’t bear life on our own, nor were we created to.
Jesus did not model independence but dependence.”
— Henry Cloud & John Townsend, How People Grow
I’ve been sitting with this as I continue reading, and it’s grounding me in a powerful truth: growth isn’t meant to be done alone. It’s spiritual, it’s relational, and it requires support.
If maternal mental health matters to you too, join me for this virtual conversation—because no mother should have to struggle alone.

Defining ease and regulation in 2026 feels different for me.
I started this year extremely challenged with COVID and strep throat back to back. It was the worst! But in the stillness, I was given space to reflect, reset, and release.
Less rushing & overthinking. More breathing. More honesty… and permission to simply be human to grieve what was and what isn’t.
Ease now means moving at a pace that honors my capacity. Regulation means choosing presence over potential, and becoming mindful of unhealthy patterns.
And maybe this is an invitation for deep reflection for you too.
What is ease looking like for you in 2026? 🤍
Side note: The classical Pilates session with @thehillingcollective was 🔥 I would absolutely recommend you booking a session.
