Thank you all SO much for piling into Unibar last Friday night for our biggest show yet!! It was so awesome having everyone rock up for such a huge performance, to celebrate something that means so much to us!

We wanna give an INCREDIBLE thank you to @unibar_adl for having us as well as @exitplan_band and @rosieandtheposiesadl - both of whom absolutely CRUSHED it and we can’t thank them enough for making it out!!
We also wanna give a huge thanks to @benjo_leachy and @lyssy_strut for coming to take pics and vids, these turned out incredibly!! (Clips from Lyssy soon 👀)
And one final massive thank you to @jessy17wilk for being an honorary 5th member of the band for our biggest cover yet - Tequila.

What’s next?? NEO!! THIS SATURDAY!!! Tickets are unfortunately sold out 😢 BUT for those of you who have tickets, the party continues at the Art Gallery!!

We’ll be back in the studio soon enough, maybe writing new stuff, maybe recording, who knows? We’re going to continue to be the same old Empty Heads; dumb music, dumber lyrics, having an absolute ball at every live show, and it’s all for you Adelaide.

THATS RIGHT. February 1st 2024 marked the very first gig we played at Hotel Metro with a couple swag dudes. Last year to celebrate we put on HEADSTOCK, our biggest show to date, and while unfortunately we weren’t able to make it happen this year, we’ve still got some cool gigs to kick off a banger year!

As a last minute fill in, we are THRILLED to jump on the lineup with @we_are_thb and @dropsink.adl to bring you our Gov debut!! On the 30th, we are perusing on down to @lovethegov for a classic night of fun, music and more!! Super excited to be playing with these two again, and very excited to see all you people there!

Then we are BACK at it again the following afternoon down south at Hallett Cove for @marionycc and @cityofmarion CONCERT AT THE COVE!! A fun as free gig in the afternoon filled with fun games and incredible music acts, including the ever so legendary Peter Combe. All happening at an incredible outdoor festival right near the beach

There’s something for everyone next weekend, so make sure to tag along to one of the shows! After these two shows, we’re headed back into the studios to record our NEXT SINGLE (no spoilers yet ‼️ but get KEEN 👀). In the meantime, take care and have an incredible weekend yall 🫶

@thememptyheads are a punk/alt rock quartet writing music about the small inconveniences of life to the bigger picture, using their voice and their music to speak out in an uncertain time while also just trying to take life that little bit less seriously.

“To us, we find that any and all shows we play and content we produce offer a platform that can be used for so many different things, and we are incredibly proud to be able to use it to stand up for Palestine and spread the word on this genocide.

It’s important for artists to recognise that platform and use it for good, and not to avoid it because it’s “controversial.” Disagreeing with genocide should never be a controversial opinion in the first place, and the more artists and bands normalise speaking out about it, the more little by little we can put an end to this.”
