Pulled my 40 coupe out of a 6 year slumber to prep it to maybe sell it. After a couple days driving it, not going anywhere anytime soon.

Peppy flat motor, 3.25 ratio 9” rear, 8.20-15 rear tires. The poor little u joint and 39 open drive trans just didn’t know how to handle a wide open stand still clutch drop in first gear.

I’ve been severely out of my normal groove the last year or so. Finally getting back into normal rhythm. Tonight finally back on vehicle work that’s been piling up. I do this at home after I get off work from the parts business. After some dishes dinner and laundry, I nearly finished wiring a cool little 32 coupe and yanked the rear from a 34 cabriolet for a rear rebuild and gear change and trans rebuild. #earlyfordnerd
