You should know by now that with me, you’re not getting a simple zen meditative experience! The method of breathwork I use to facilitate these events is a continuous 3 part breath that induces an altered state of consciousness for participants (that’s not a marketing gimmick - look it up!) Once you drop in to a session like this, a lot of our subconscious thoughts and feelings rise to the surface, similar to what we think happens when we dream. That’s when the magic happens. The body is able to process and RELEASE. I’ve seen a range of emotional responses in my group journeys, from laughter and bliss to tears and rage - I’ve seen, and personally experienced, it all.
Somatic Breathwork was a beautiful tool I am so grateful to have found on my healing journey. As someone who was always great at intellectualizing my feelings and thinking my thoughts to death; breathwork gave me a method to not only bring my body into the equation but gave it full control in each healing session.
