With my dad’s help, some YouTube videos and 20 hours of work it all came together somehow. The bag is made from soft calfskin leather, died black, then trimmed to fit. Based off the Birkin 25 with modified side panels and top flap. I’m very happy with how it turned out and next I’m going to be trying to make a bigger duffel bag around 40cm with my own design. #leathercraft

Always trying to learn something new, this project I was making a purse for my girlfriend’s birthday. This is my first time ever working with leather or sewing. With my dad’s help, some YouTube videos and 20 hours of work it all came together somehow. The bag is made from soft calfskin leather, died black, then trimmed to fit. Based off the Birkin 25 with modified side panels and top flap. My most in depth work yet, “Illusions of Chaos.”
At first, it feels like disorder - colors clashing, lines collapsing. But if you look deeper. It isn’t chaos, it’s truth unfiltered. I painted this with no intention or without needing it to make sense. This is the illusion of chaos. Over 30 layers of paint and thick textures all combined to create something special that makes the viewer interpret it in their own way.

@sashamarashlian came to me and said he needed a new inspirational wall for @imaginefmcg and I was able to come up with this concept. The wall is huge and took so much time and paint.
