FULL LINEUP

Meakusma is thrilled to announce the full lineup for the 2026 Meakusma Festival, which will once again descend upon the city of Eupen in Eastern Belgium from September 3rd to 6th. Four days of live performances, DJ sets, installations, workshops, and more. In true Meakusma spirit, the lineup is diverse, touching on both experimental and club music. Check out the festival website for a more detailed description of all proceedings and the day-to-day program.

Positioned at the intersection of ambient, experimental, electronic, devotional, and psychedelic music, the program traverses large-scale halls and intimate listening spaces. Through live performances, AV works, and DJ sets, the experience shifts between concert, installation, and durational formats.

Born from our Berlin-based series, Sanctum of Sound extends the focus on deep listening into an unbroken format that blurs distinctions between day and night, rest and movement, audience and performer. There is no fixed schedule; instead, we invite an open flow, allowing you to navigate the experience at your own pace.

a little bit of context is always endearingly charming to narrate (or not). so, here I go. not long ago -or should I say a while ago or years ago- while I was havinga video call on whatsappto both @abraham_parker_ & @big__hands, the idea of putting an event came along which I found instantly brilliant and feasible. however, mentally, I wasn’t quite eager or fully motivated to curate any event untileverything started to click click- and seriously, like a call- with “The Journey”, a monthly show at @dublab.cat. suddenly the idea of curating an event emerged, and like a domino effect,myformer @honestjons colleagues & friends @big__hands & @abraham_parker_ , aka OttomaniParker came to mind in order to join me for the upcoming event at@shai.space on the 21st of March, from the 20 till 22 inna London.

Ottomani Parker @ottomaniparker is a collision of jazz and dub techno. Their shows and records have live dubbing at the core, blending and warping the saxophones of Izz Karpel @izanaturalskinscare and Buster Woodruff-Bryant @busterwoodruffbryant, Bint Mbareh’s voice @bintmbareh, Phoebe Coco’s voice, keyboards and miscellaneous percussions @phoebe.coco, Hayato Takahashi’s keys and synths, andAbraham Parker’s trumpet At the controls isbig_hands (Andrea Ottomani), who drops a few samples and percussive elements into the pot, and weaves it all together. Havingfound a home on labels such as Trule, Baroque Sunburst, Marionette, Teeth and Blank Mind, the group’s anarchic line up is rarely often morphs into different formations, with different musicians (from UK jazz pioneer Alabaster De Plume to groundbreaking techno producers Soreab @d.soreab and Andrea Campisi) often getting in on the act. Expect a heavy dub current at all times.
