Welcome to the CDA @jofarrugiacasting 👋❤️

Jo Farrugia is a London and Essex-based Casting Director with extensive experience across film, television, and short-form content. Recent projects include the upcoming feature Blood on Snow (2026), directed by Cary Fukunaga and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Eva Green, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ben Mendelsohn and Emma Laird; the animated sci-fi drama All Operators Are Currently Unavailable (2025); Cottontail (2023), which won Best First Feature at the Rome Film Festival and additional casting on How to Build a Girl (2019).

Jo is Casting Director on Chocolate Wars, an upcoming television series about the Cadbury brothers for Sony Pictures Television and Fable. After more than twenty years in the industry, she began her casting career on Netflix’s The Crown (2016).

In addition to her casting work, Jo teaches at the London Screen Academy, Central Film School, and MetFilm School, and is a BIFA voter.

💥 NEW MEMBER ALERT 💥
Welcome to the CDA @gaby_wh_casting 👋❤️

Gaby began her film career at 17 and later earned a Master’s in Producing for the Screen from the New York Film Academy, King’s College London. She produced several award-winning short films and her first feature, ‘Dead End’, which won Best UK Feature at the International TV and Screen Awards.

After relocating to Los Angeles, she produced and cast ‘Becoming’, starring Toby Kebbell, Jason Patric and Penelope Mitchell, which was named one of Thrillist’s Top 20 Horror Films of 2020.

As a casting director, Gaby has worked with Nicolas Cage, Ruby Rose, Eva Green, Maria Bakalova, Alex Pettyfer, Guy Pearce, Dominic West, Alexander Dreymon and Samuel L. Jackson. Her casting credits include ‘Blurred’ (Ben Cookson), ‘Dirty Angels’ (dir. Martin Campbell), and ‘Wind of Change’ for Warner Bros. and Fox Studios. Most recently, she cast ‘Just Play Dead’ (dir. Martin Campbell), starring Samuel L. Jackson and Eva Green. She is currently casting several exciting new projects.
