It’s been three years since @plasmidband has played @millvalemusic, and two and a half since our last show. So much has happened over this time, but I’m so excited to get back up on stage and jam out with my brother @s_larussa213. I want to thank @asaptrippp for all his hard work on bass, as well as @davefnwalker for coming out and ripping some tracks with us. So stoked. We play at 7:50 at the iconic @mrsmallstheatre. When making Death, I really wanted to use a practical texture. Mike talks about how “nothing can ever be perfect” when making a painting. I wanted to reflect that visually, which is where the idea of shooting VHS came from. Being an editor by trade, I wanted to push it even further. When transferring the tapes, I would run them several times and shake the VHS player while doing it. It would create these beautiful hues and lines that would cascade across the screen. I’m.
