Joel has a diverse background spanning creative and litigious fields. He is interested in space, sculpture, sound, and the interplay between these mediums. Unbound by the label of ‘artist’, his pursuits focus on building a life with community and creativity at its core.

We delve into Joel’s creative journey, his interest in architecture, his influences, his process and his recent sculptural work, ‘un:titled’, at un:send 2025/26 (see pictured).

In this week’s episode, I’m excited to bring you a guest mix curated by @_naycab !

naycab is a Gunai/Kurnai, Gunditjmara, Wiradjuri, and Yorta Yorta DJ based in Naarm. Known for their signature blend of percussive bass and left-field electro, they are a regular selector across the country, gracing both packed club rooms and dusty festival dance floors.

They have brought their energy to major festivals like Strawberry Fields, Sonder, Pitch, and un:send, and have shared lineups supporting international artists such as Sally C, Jyoty, INVT, Octo Octa and Eris Drew - building a solid reputation as a dynamic selector for any setting.

Outside the dancefloor, naycab has a background as an essayist, screenwriter and community worker. We’re so excited to have them on!! 🫶

I’m so excited to be a part of @nts_radio specialist subject series!
