Cosmurology is on view at AUA in Dc thanks to @gitlerand who invited artists to consider urology and all its associations for an unusual show format.
Here are some of the experimentations that brought to the final painting in which the canvas is cut along a continuous line, creating two interconnected shapes painted separately using industrial spray guns and inlayed on wood panel. A frequent traveler, Erik’s work focuses on the people and places around him with a bold emphasis on color. Erik has had more than 25 solo exhibitions in cities across North America and Europe, and his work is included in countless permanent and private collections. Recently, Erik had a solo exhibition at the Contemporary Calgary Museum.

Erik is returning to India for the first time since 2010, when he traveled over 10,000km by motorcycle. He will use his time at Awaaz to experiment with copper plate printmaking techniques, informed by the local culture, history, and artists of Baroda.
